Myoelectric hand is based on utilising the electric signals produced by the muscles of the residual limb and accentuating those signals to control the prosthetic hand, it comes with batteries and sensors which help in operating the myoelectric, hand to perform daily routine tasks with ease.

Indicated for those who lost their limbs from shoulder joint. The user can control all the four joints movements electronically depending upon the strength of EMG signals produced by the muscles of the users. This prosthesis aims to deliver control with less energy expenditure, in comparison with body-powered prosthesis. It consists of prosthetic shoulder joint, elbow joint, wrist unit and a terminal device connected to the electrodes and a battery.

This is indicated for individuals with residual limb above the elbow or at the elbow joint. The myoelectric above elbow or elbow disarticulation prosthesis enables the users to generate muscle signals in order to control the prosthesis. It is available in varying degrees of freedom of the involved prosthetic joints which is prescribed according to the daily activities of the user.
